The massiver burner was once faulty from the onset - the knob became however the burner remained on, and at full it seemed, whatever the knob's surroundings. I needed to unplug and plug within the unit to show it on and off. The smaller burner worked!
Amazon was nice enough to repayment me in full and even paid for the return transport as well. Packing seemed high quality too, guess it was a producing defect. Hopefully this does not occur to some differents.
